The carbohydrate content in sago allows it to function as a staple food in several regions of the world. Sago is also low in fat and has no protein. Sago Rose Kheer is a delicious sweet dish that is made in minutes. To provide instant energy, this kheer is the best option.

Sago-1 cup, water-4 cup, milk-3 cup, sugar-½ cup, cashews-few, green cardamoms-few and dried rose petals-few
1. Cook the sago with enough water until it turns transparent, drain and keep aside.
2. Bring milk to boil and then add the already cooked sago and simmer until the kheer gets slightly thickened.
3. Immediately add the dried rose petals, sugar, fried cashew nuts, and cardamom powder. Bring everything to boil and turn off the heat.
Serve warm or chilled.
