Sihi Shaavige Baath is a delicious sweet prepared using semiya and sugar, both good sources of carbohydrates.You can flavour this sweet with a healthy mix of nuts like cashews and raisins sauted in little ghee.

½ cup semiya, 2 tbsp sugar, 2-3 cashews, 2-3 raisins, 1 tsp ghee, ¼ cup water
1. In a pan, take ½ tsp ghee. Saute the cashews and raisins for 1 minute. Grind to a fine powder.
2. In the same pan, add the remaining ghee. Add the semiya and saute for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add water and cook on medium flame till semiya turns soft.
4. Add sugar and cook for another 3 minutes.
5. Add cardamom powder and the nuts powder. Give a thorough mix.
