Smooth Chocolate Mousse

Yummy in the tummy alert! This mousse recipe is going to make you drool. This is a rich, creamy, delicious recipe, which is liked by all. Dark chocolate added in the recipe contains good amounts of antioxidants. It contains lesser sugar when compared to that of white chocolate. Cream is richer and creamier than milk. It contains tryptophan, which helps in the cognitive functions, while calcium present in the milk promotes growth and development.

Ingredients to make Smooth Chocolate Mousse (1 serving):

Heavy Whipping cream-100gms, sugar -50gms, gelatine 2 tsp, caramel syrup/ vanilla extract 1-2 ml, dark chocolate -100gms

Steps to make Smooth Chocolate Mousse:

1. Pour the whipping cream in a cold bowl kept in the refrigerator. Place this bowl under cold water and start whipping, using the hand blender, add sugar and then blend again at medium speed until softness is attained.

2. Melt the dark chocolate and fold it slowly in the whipping cream.

3. Add vanilla extract to the mixture.

4. Add the swollen gelatine to the mixture and pour into shot glasses and keep it in the refrigerator overnight for 3- 4 hours until the mousse is set.

Serve this delicious mousse, garnished with some fresh fruits or berries!
