Raw bananas are an excellent source of fibre, potassium and Vitamin B6. Banana stir fry is a recipe that is from Kerala and is extremely healthy. Easy and quick to prepare, this dish will allow to gain all the health benefits that raw bananas has to offer.

Ingredients: Raw bananas (2 -3 large), shallots or pearl onions (3-4 chopped), coconut oil for cooking, a pinch of mustard seeds, green and red chillies (as per taste), a few curry leaves, 1 tsp each of turmeric and red chilli powders, salt to taste.
Steps:
1. Cut the bananas and soak them in water to tenderize them.
2. Heat oil in a pan and throw in mustard seeds, chillies, chopped shallots, curry leaves and masala powders.
3. After a minute, add raw banana. Cover the vessel and let it cook for about 10 minutes on low flame.
Your delicious banana stir fry is ready. You can serve this as a side dish during lunch or dinner. So go on and try it out today!
