This Oriyan version of poha is simpler and faster to make. It is a good source of healthy carbohydrates and iron. It is easily digestible and low in calories.

300 gm chiwda, 300 gm tomato, 100 gm onion, 4 pc green chili, 1 inch crushed ginger, 10-12 curry leaves,3 tbsp. refined oil, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp mustard seeds, 2 tsp saunf, and salt as per taste
1. Finely chop onion and tomatoes and slit the green chilies.
2. Heat oil in a deep pan and add mustard seeds, saunf. Let it crackle and then add onion, green chilies, crushed ginger and curry leaves. Saute it well for 5-7 mins till the onion becomes transparent.
3. Now add tomatoes. Mix it well and cover it.
4. Wash the chiwda in a strainer and drain the water.
5. Add poha in the above mixture. Put turmeric powder and salt. Mix everything well and cook for 2 more minutes.
Your yummilicious dish is ready to be served with sev or tomato ketchup.
