Two Potato Gratin is a perfect snack for your taste-buds. Potatoes are very high in minerals like sodium and potassium which is very beneficial for your child’s growth. They also contain high amounts of carbohydrates. So this will be an ideal weekend snack.

Ingredients: 1/3 cup of butter, 1/3 cup maida, 1 and ½ cup of milk, 1 tsp of mustard, salt, pepper, 1 cup of shredded cheese, 3 large potatoes (cut into ¼ inch slices), 1 large sweet potato (peeled and cut into ¼ inch slices).
Steps:
1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Take a medium-sized saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and add the flour into the melted butter. Cook it for about a minute.
2. After the mixing is done, add mustard, salt and pepper according to your child’s taste. Now add cheese into the mixture and give it a good stir until the cheese is melted.
3. Put some cooking spray in the microwave bowl, add a layer of the potatoes and a layer of the sauce which you made separately, over the potatoes. Repeat the layers.
4. Cover and bake it for 30-35 minutes. Keep checking on the potatoes until it becomes tender and golden brown in colour.
Your Gratins are ready! Serve it with tomato ketchup or coriander chutney!
