Wheat pancake is rich in carbohydrates and is very easy to make with few basic ingredients. This is a perfect breakfast recipe and when served with a drizzle of honey, tastes just superb and is rich in carbohydrates.

Contents
1 cup wheat flour, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp yeast, 1 tsp curd, 2 tsp butter, salt as per taste, 1 cup water
1. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, sugar and salt. Mix well.
2. In a bowl, take 2 tsp warm water and add the yeast. Stir and allow it to rise. Add the yeast mixture, 1 tsp butter and water to the bowl. Add water as required and give the mixture a good mix. Please ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
3. Rest the batter for 15 to 20 minutes. On a hot tawa, pour 1 ladle of the batter and spread it round just like an uttapam.
4. Add ½ tsp of butter and cook till you see bubbles forming on the surface.
5. Cook the second side also till golden brown.
Remove and serve this delicious hot wheat pancake along with honey, fresh fruits or jam.
