Poori, a deep fried Indian bread which is served steaming hot, is yummy and healthy for your little one. Go ahead and try making these soft and super scrumptious pooris with aloo ki sabzi and pickle. It contains healthy carbs.

2 cup wheat flour, ½ cup maida, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp carom seeds, oil for frying
1. Take whole wheat flour and maida. Add salt and carom seeds. Mix well.
2. Add 2 tbsp oil and rub the mixture between your palms until it takes the form of breadcrumbs.
3. Add little water at a time and knead a soft dough. Sprinkle 1 tsp oil on top of dough.
4. Heat oil in a skillet. Take small portions of dough and make roundballs.
5. Flatten the round balls with rolling pin and drop these pooris in hot oil.
6. Deep fry them from both sides.
Serve immediately with aloo ki sabzi or pickle.
