Do you want to know how to make nutritious carrot baby food at home? Then this recipe is for your Champ. Carrots are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, while almonds are loaded with protein, vitamin E, fiber, magnesium.

1 cup carrot cubes, 6 to 8 almonds, 1 tbsp. jaggery, ¼ tsp. ghee, milk or water as required.
1. Wash, peel and chop the carrot into small cubes.
2. Soak almonds for 6 hours in normal water and peel off the skin.
3. Add carrots, milk and almonds to blender and puree it to a smooth paste.
4. Steam cook the puree in a pressure cooker for 7-10 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
5. Add jaggery and ghee and mix it well.
Prepare it for today’s breakfast and enjoy the lip smacking of your champ.
