Methi or fenugreek is a staple in Indian kitchens. Apart from adding flavour to daily dishes, these seeds also have a host of health benefits. It is rich in iron and calcium and also adds fibre to the diet. This is an easy way to include methi in your diet, try today!

Methi leaves, wheat flour, gram flour, oil, water as required
1. Break and wash fenugreek leaves. Either grind them thickly or cut them finely with a knife.
2. Sieve wheat flour and gram flour and take them out in a utensil. Mix salt, 1 tablespoon oil and fenugreek, in the flour. Now mix sufficient water and knead a soft dough. Keep the dough covered for half an hour.
3. Put oil in the frying pan and heat it.
4. Roll out small pooris and fry till golden brown.
Your Fenugreek/Methi Pooris are now ready to be served and eaten hot along with potato masala or chutney.
