Give a variation from the regular lentil soup to veggie soup to your little darling. Cabbage has a good amount of thiamine, niacin, vitamin B6, folate and manganese and a very good source of dietary fiber, vitamin A, C, and K and potassium and phosphorus.

1 cup shredded cabbage, a pinch of hing (asafoetida) and turmeric,1 clove garlic, salt to taste and 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, 1 ½ cup water.
1. Wash and clean the cabbage and chop it.
2. In a pressure cooker, add all the ingredients and cook for 2-3 whistles.
3. When the cooker is cooled, remove the cooked veggies and blend them to a fine paste.
4. If needed add the vegetable boiled water for a better consistency.
