Steps to access the UAN site, you must first have your UAN number from the employer or the EPFO. Once you have obtained the UAN, you can use the portal by going to the EPFO's official website and clicking on the "UAN Member e-Sewa" link. Here is a step-by-step guide to login to your UAN account.
Step 1: Visit the EPFO website ( https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php )
You can access this website from your computer or an internet-connected smartphone.
Step 2: Open the Services drop-down menu
After you click on the Services tab, you will see a drop-down menu. Click on “For Employees”.
Step 3: UAN Member e-Sewa Portal : Click the “Member UAN/Online Services (OCS/OTCP)” link to open the UAN Member e-Sewa portal.
Step 4: Login to UAN : Enter your UAN and password to access your UAN account.
If you have already set up your account and created a password, you will be logged in to your UAN account. Else you need to enter your mobile number (linked with your Aadhaar card) and enter the OPT. You will be asked to change the password for better security.
Step 5: EPF account login
Once logged in, you can view your UAN card, update personal information, and request a transfer or withdrawal of the EPF money. You can also use the UAN to access EPF account services by downloading the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) mobile app.
To access UAN login, it is necessary to register and activate your UAN (Universal Account Number) on the official portal. Follow these steps to register for your UAN:
Step 1: Visit the EPFO homepage and navigate to the 'Services' section. Click on 'For Employees.'
Step 2: Within the 'Services' section, locate and select 'Member UAN/Online Services.'
Step 3: On the subsequent page, find the 'Important Links' section and choose the 'Activate UAN' option.
Step 4: Fill in the required details on the following page, including your UAN number or member ID, Aadhaar number, full name, date of birth, mobile number, and captcha. Remember to provide your consent to share your Aadhaar Number by checking the corresponding box. Click on 'Get authorization PIN.'
Step 5: An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP and select the 'Validate OTP and Activate UAN' option. Upon successful UAN activation, EPFO will send an SMS to your mobile, granting you access to your PF account.
By following these steps, you will be able to register and activate your UAN, allowing you to proceed with UAN login securely and conveniently.
You must first activate your Universal Account Number (UAN) account before you can create a password for it. Once activated, you can create your password by following these steps.
Step 1: Login to UAN Member e-Sewa Portal
Step 2: Click on "Create Password"
Step 3: Click on "Get OTP"
Step 4: Enter the OTP in the "OTP" field and click on "Validate OTP"
Step 5: Enter a new password in the "New Password" field. Re-enter the password in the "Confirm Password" field. The password should be at least 8 characters long and must contain a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
Step 6: Click on "Submit". Your password will be set and you will be logged in to your UAN account.
To reset your UAN password, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official UAN member portal by clicking on the following link: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
Step 2: On the login page, locate and click on the 'Forgot Password' option.
Step 3: Enter your UAN in the designated field.
Step 4: Verify your identity by correctly entering the captcha code displayed.
Step 5: An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 6: Enter the OTP as requested on the page.
Step 7: Click on the 'Submit' option to proceed.
Step 8: Once the OTP is successfully validated, you will be prompted to reset your password.
