The policyholder should inform ACKO General Insurance about the loss/damage/theft of the key/lockset within 30 days of such incident.

Below are the exclusions of Key Protect add-on:
Loss/Damage to the key or lockset due to deliberate or criminal act.
Loss/Damage to the key or lockset due to radiation, toxic substances, corrosive material, radioactive contamination or hazardous properties of an explosive.
Loss/Damage to the components associated with key/lockset, such as ignition system, warning alarm or immobiliser.
Loss/Damage to the key/lock/lockset due to improper handling.
Loss/Damage to the key or lockset which is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or service warranty.
The repair/replacement cost of keys/lockset will not be covered if the insured is not able to produce the original invoice or receipts for the same.
There is no need for additional documentation to buy the Key Protect add-on. But the mandatory documents are required to purchase the comprehensive bike insurance policy or the stand-alone Own Damage two-wheeler policy.
