Welcome to ACKO, where your health is our priority. Our Standard Health Insurance Plan is designed to give you peace of mind for any future medical expenses. Let's dive into the details of this plan and understand why it's an excellent choice for you and your family.
The ACKO Standard Health Plan is an insurance plan that provides a substantial sum insured, ensuring adequate financial assistance during medical emergencies. This plan covers a range of medical expenses, including hospitalisation, daycare treatments, post-birth complications, ambulance trips, and much more. It’s a comprehensive package tailored to meet your healthcare needs.
We believe in transparent dealings. With our plan, you get the full claim amount for approved claims without any hidden deductions. Your claims are settled as per the policy's terms and conditions. This means that when you file a claim that falls within the scope of your coverage, you receive the entire amount you are entitled to, without any reductions for administration fees or other costs, ensuring a straightforward and reliable claims process.
In a typical hospital stay, the room rent can be a significant portion of the total bill. Room Rent Waiver is an add-on feature included in the ACKO Standard Health Insurance Plan. It ensures that you have the flexibility to choose any hospital room of your preference, be it a private room, deluxe, super deluxe, or even a suite, without worrying about the associated costs
No need to pay extra for add-ons like Doctor on Call, Room Rent Waiver, and coverage for Non-medical Expenses. We've got you covered with these valuable add-ons. This comprehensive approach enhances your insurance protection and adds layers of convenience and comfort, ensuring that your health insurance plan adapts to your needs rather than the other way around.
You won't need a separate policy to cover critical illnesses. We provide coverage for hospitalisation expenses related to critical conditions. This integration into your main health plan saves you the hassle and additional cost of managing multiple insurance policies. It ensures that you're covered in the event of severe health issues such as cancer, heart disease, or stroke, providing significant financial relief and support during some of life's most challenging times.

About 400 million people with medical insurance policies could benefit from this change once it's in place. The goal is to achieve nationwide cashless settlements by the end of October. The committee is led by S Prakash, a former executive from Star Health and Allied Insurance Company.
