Set An Example For Your Kid By Following A Good Routine Yourself

It is absolutely imperative that whatever you want your child to become in the future, you need to behave the same way when he is younger.

To your little one, you are the role model from whom he imbibes practically everything. Good or bad, you are his first teacher. No matter how much ever you teach your child to do things or behave in a certain way, unless you do it yourself there is nothing that he will learn well. In many families it has been seen that even though parents impart every bit of great habits to the child, the child still is far from being well behaved and civilised. Well, the reason is simple. The parents don’t behave in the way that is expected out of them. You will yell and abuse whereas you teach your child not to do that. You waste food and expect your child not to do that. You stay undisciplined and expect your child to be a disciplined fellow. Not done!

So, whenever you see your child behaving in a certain way which is not acceptable, make sure you check on yourself first before reprimanding the little soul. It is quite possible that the roots of his ways are from you. Watch yourself carefully, because this is exactly where your child is absorbing plenty of things in his life from.
