Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
Your child needs to maintain steady sugar levels to stay attentive and be active at this stage. He should be having 3 proper meals with 2 snacks in between, timely spaced out. However, snacking between meals should be avoided as it can interfere with intake of proper meals, especially when snacks are processed foods, chips, pretzels, etc.

Schedule the right snacks at regular times each day and stick to it.
Ensure your child has a wholesome nutritious balanced diet in each of his meals. This will ensure he has enough energy to pursue his activities.
At times, your child may want to snack in between meals. If it happens, tell him, “You can have a fruit.” Fruits are nutrient dense and will not fill his tummy much before a meal.
