Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

During week 19, your baby is developing at a much faster rate and now you need to take more nutritious diet in order to nourish your baby. Take fat rich diet along with zinc in it. Consume red meat such as beef and lamb to increase the amount of zinc in your diet. Consume wholegrain bread and cereals in your diet, avoid white bread as this is not healthy and is high in sugar as well. Chew on some nuts on daily basis and consume lots of milk, eggs and cheese at this stage. This will increase the amount of energy in your body. Do not go for saturated fats that are found in meat, dairy products and baked food. Stay away from chips and cookies that contain unsaturated fat and is high in sugar as well.

Do not eat processed food and packaged one as well as they contain lot of chemicals and artificial flavors that are harmful for you and your baby. Stay away from caffeine and under cooked eggs. Eat boiled eggs or scrambled eggs for increasing protein in the body. Eat beans, avocado, and foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acid as this will provide power to your baby’s brain and nerves. Stay away from herbal supplements and take them only if your doctor says so. Never be your own doctor during pregnancy as this is a very delicate stage and any small mistake can lead to big consequences for you and your baby.
