It also reduces blood pressure, which if high during pregnancy, is a risky condition for both the mom and the baby. Above all, sex also improves intimacy with your spouse.

However, if there is a history of cervical weakness, a low lying placenta, heavy bleeding or vaginal infection earlier during pregnancy, consult your doctor. She may advise you complete pelvic rest. While if all is well so far, make your sex life fulfilling during this time.
