The point to note here is that to drive/ride vehicles legally, you need to hold a valid Driving Licence (DL). Visit the RTO on the designated date to undertake the driving test. An official will monitor the test. Once you clear the test, the RTO will capture your biometrics data. You will receive the DL at your residential address via post.
Here are the steps to apply for DL offline in Pune.
Step 1: Visit the RTO and obtain the LL application form (Form 2). Alternatively, you can download it through the Parivahan website.
Step 2: Fill out the form and compile all the required documents.
Step 3: Submit the application form and documents to the RTO, pay the fees, collect the acknowledgement receipt and select a slot for the Learner’s Licence test.
