This is another fun activity for your toddler. Mirror creates an image of ourselves when we stand in front of them. For 3-6 months, it is a new thing to explore themselves. Follow these steps and see how they enjoy this simple activity.
Steps:
1. Take them and stand in front of the mirror. They will be scared initially seeing someone like them, but calm them and tell that it’s them.
2. Now as they enjoy show them their hands, feet, mouth etc. by pointing towards it. Call out names of the various body parts, so that they know which is called what.
3. You can also check yourself in the mirror in front of your toddler. Then give them a small hand mirror and you will see them loving to check out themselves and mimicking you too.
