Honda Unicorn is a 150-160cc bike launched initially in 2005 by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). Unicorn’s first version featured spoke wheels and kick-start with an optional self-starter. In 2016, HMSI updated their CB Unicorn 160 with a BS-IV compliant engine and automatic headlights. Honda sold more than 18,000 units of Unicorn in India in July 2017.

Honda Unicorn, which is now known as CB Unicorn, is one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in its segment. The updated Honda CB Unicorn 160 comes with refreshed styling and various new features making it more appealing to the bikers in India. Honda CB Unicorn 160 comes in four body color options and is powered by a single-cylinder SOHC, four-stroke air-cooled engine with swirl induction. Honda Unicorn Becomes Costlier by INR 955

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI) has increased the price of its BS6 version of Unicorn. The increase in price is by INR 955, which takes the price to INR 94,548. Note that this price can vary from one city to another. A similar price hike was also declared by Bajaj Auto for its Pulsar models. Despite the hike of almost INR 1000, Honda Unicorn continues to be among the affordable bikes in its segment along with Bajaj Avenger 160. Unicorn’s BS6 variant was launched by the company just before the nation went into Lockdown mode as a safety measure against COVID-19. The model had received a significant upgrade then and no such upgrade has been announced for the model along with the recent hike in price. Honda Unicorn BS6 is available in three colour variants with black alloy wheels.
Honda Launches BS6 Unicorn in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. have launched the BS6 Honda Unicorn in India at Rs.93,593 ex-showroom (Delhi). The BS6 Honda Unicorn now gets engine kill switch and the ground clearance has increased by 8mm and a longer wheelbase. The seat is now longer by 24mm. The Honda Unicorn is powered by a single-cylinder 160cc FI engine which produces 13.82PS and 13.92Nm of torque which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The new Unicorn brakes include a disc at the front and drum at the rear, the BS6 Unicorn now gets ABS as well. The new Unicorn comes with three paint schemes such as Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black and Mat Axis Grey Metallic.
