At this stage, your kiddo might have amazed you with his developing eye and hand coordination skill. This milestone is a major milestone as this skill will enable your cutie pie to explore the world around him properly. Your sweetie pie is almost 5 months old, and his motor skills are already flaring, so be prepared because by 6 months,he would have almost mastered sitting. And he might able to understand that seeing and touching activities are related. That means he might understand that he can use his eyes and hands in coordination to achieve a particular goal as can use his eyes to direct and hands to execute.

    What you need to know

At this point, you will notice that your kiddo is developing his hand and eye coordination which means he is actually developing his vision to coordinate properly with hands. In other words, he might now able to use his both eyes to look at an object in his hands. The proper hand-eye coordination is needed to perform many useful skills in our life like writing, eating. You will be happy to find that your kiddo is on the right track of achieving such a big and useful milestone. It is a great way to understand that your little one is developing his fine motor skills. It is also a positive sign that he is developing his vision skills.

    What you can do

However, your kiddo needs you as a mentor all the time. Since birth, your kiddo is inherited with the ability to grasp things. So you can encourage him to master this skill very easily. There are several ways, some of them are shaking off a key chain to make him grab it or shaking of wrist rattles or simply play with your kiddo the game of building blocks and ask him to pick up the blocks for you, a little later in the months to come.
