A Colourful Take On Nature Collage

Collage is a fun activity, no doubt. But this can get even better because you will have to go on a hunt to pick up the materials needed for your beautiful collage. Take your child to a garden and have her choose different leaves and flowers, of all different colours, shapes and sizes. This is also a good way to get in touch with nature for you and your child.

Requisites: Card paper, glue, newspaper, leaves, flower petals, iron, pencil, paintbrush

Steps:

1. Have your child draw a picture of her choice on a piece of card paper using a pencil.

2. Lay out the leaves and petals in between two sheets of newspaper and press them using an iron to dry them out completely. This step must be done by you or an adult.

3. Use a paintbrush to stick each component of the collage onto the picture that was drawn by your child.

4. Let the collage dry. You can also use a black marker or a sketch pen to outline the picture drawn.

5. You can also frame the pretty nature collage using a different coloured cardboard around the picture to make the collage pop.

This activity helps your child enhance her creativity while getting in touch with nature. Since she will do some sticking, she will also improve her eye-hand movement.

Planning for Your Child’s Financial Security

The growth and success of your child are not only associated with education and skills; the small decisions you make today as a parent firmly lay the groundwork for your child's secure tomorrow. When it comes to financial security, life insurance is an effective tool. You can choose from various types, such as whole life insurance, endowment plans, ULIPs, term insurance, and more.

You can also opt for a 1 crore term insurance policy, which offers robust coverage at low premiums that fits within your budget. You can also use a term insurance plan calculator to tailor your policy based on your requirements and your child’s goals. Remember, selecting the appropriate plan based on needs is critical so your child has adequate funds to fulfil all their dreams.
