Your child can indulge more into sensory learning. A wonderful way for your child to sense textures is using bubble wrap. The bubbly, squishy and popping noise is exciting too.Through a bubble wrap painting your child can learn various shapes and experiment with many patterns.
Steps:
1.Things you will need- Bubble Wrap, Paints (yellow, red, blue), Printable shape template ,Scissors, Plastic plates(for spreading paints),Chart paper(white).
2. Using the shape template as a guideline, cut out shapes out of the bubble wrap.
3. Spread each paint in separate plastic plates
4. Lay the bubble wrap shapes bubble side down into the paint with the smooth side facing up.
5. Gently press the bubble wrap to cover the entire shape with paint.
6. Place the paint covered shapes face down onto the chart paper pressing with fingers to make sure paint coverage and then gently lift it.
7. Your patterns are ready.
You can assist your child in cutting shapes using the bubble wrap by giving an example and then letting him explore the same. This activity serves as a learning opportunity to understand different shapes.It not only improves his concentration but also enhances hand eye coordination.
