Requisites: Acrylic paint in red, yellow, orange, brown etc., paint brushes and a construction paper.

Steps:

1. With the help of a brush, paint your child's hand and arm (a few inches below his wrist) in brown.

2. Press his hand on the construction paper to get a hand outline. The arm hand print will act as the trunk of the tree with the fingers acting as its branches.

3. Using another brush, colour your child's fingertips red and yellow. Let your child put his fingerprints all over the branches. Its time for free play and lots of fun.

4. Allow the paint to dry.
