This craft activity is so interesting and the output of it is also so attractive that your little one will love it. These flowers are so colorful and look like the natural flowers that they will force you to make a bouquet. This craft activity will also help to develop your kiddo’s motor and creativity skills.

Requisites: Construction paper (colored), (Straws bendable), Scissors(kids craft scissors), An egg carton, Scale, A pencil, Sticky tape, Metal Skewer

To make flowers you need the three squares of three different sizes say

 12xm x 12cm  10cm x 10cm  8cm x 8cm

Steps:

1) Now fold each of the squares on its diagonal to form a triangle.

2) After that, fold each corner of the triangle to the upside so that they can meet in the middle, to form a diamond like structure.

3) Now fold the diamond into half and where the two halves of the diamond they meet you will find that they form a triangle again.

4) Now cut that triangle which is formed in the petal shape of the flowers.

5) Unfold the triangle to form the petals of the flowers.

6) Make three layers of different colors for each flower.

7) Place the three layers on each other and pierce them through the center together with a metal skewer.

8) Push a straw through that center with the bendy end at the top of the flower.

9) Cut the extra part of the straw coming out of the flower.

10) Take the bottom part of the egg carton to make it as a stand for the flowers.

11) Paint the egg carton with the green paint and then turn it upside down when the color applied is dry.

12) Pierce holes in the each egg cup so that your flowers can stand easily in it.

This activity is quite nice and time consuming that you and your kiddo won’t resist it. Moreover, you can use these flowers to decorate your house too.
