Drumsticks Soup Cooked in Milk is a great appetizer. Drumsticks are a rich source of vitamins and minerals. By adding dals, rice and milk, you can make it more nutritious and enhance the consistency of the soup.

    Ingredients to make Drumsticks Soup Cooked in Milk:

    4-5 drumsticks cut in 3 inch long pieces, ¼ onion finely chopped, 2 tsp milk, 1 tsp rice, 1 tsp each yellow moong dal, tur dal, urad dal and channa dal, 1 tsp ghee, salt as per taste.

    Steps to make Drumsticks Soup Cooked in Milk:

    1. In a vessel, add ghee. Once warm, add onions and drumsticks. Saute for a min. Add water enough for the drumsticks to boil.

    2. Meanwhile, mix all the dals with rice and pressure cook. Mash well.

    3. Remove the drumsticks and scoop of its inner flesh. Keep aside the drumstick pulp.

    4. To the same vessel which has boiled onion, add the mashed dals and rice. Add enough water to have a soup like consistency. Put salt as per taste.

    5. Once the soup starts boiling, add the scooped flesh of drumsticks and 2 tsp of milk. Simmer for a minute. Switch off the flame.

    Delicious hot drumstick soup is ready. Enjoy!
