With the onset of winters, fresh vegetables are available in plenty. Use these fresh vegetable to prepare a delicious meal for your baby. Vegetables are a rich source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, calcium, iron, Vitamin B6, magnesium, dietary fibre and potassium. Vegetables are extremely good for your baby’s health as they help in maintaining a healthy digestive system, boost immune system and promote formation of red blood cells. This vegetable puree is delicious and your child will love it instantly. Here’s how you can prepare this yummy dish.

Ingredients: a cup of fresh or frozen green beans, peas, zucchini, thinly sliced pieces of a potato, small pieces of chopped carrots.

Steps:

1. Boil water in a pan and add all the vegetables.

2. Cook for about 10 minutes on low flame till the vegetables are soft and tender.

3. Once done, set aside the vegetables for cooling.

4. Next, pour in the vegetables and the stock into the blender and process into a smooth puree.
