This yummy recipe is made from baby potatoes and is very delicious to taste. It is primarily made in tomato gravy and the spices added to it brings up all the flavor of this curry. Make this new form of potatoes and everyone will love it for sure.

Ingredients to make Aloo Banarasi:

1 tbsp khush khus, 1 cup oil, ½ kg baby potatoes, 2 tbs oil, 1 bay leaf, 1 cup tomato puree, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 2 black crushed cardamoms

Steps to make Aloo Banarasi:

1. Soak and grind khus khus in water.

2. Now take peeled and boiled baby potatoes and prick them all over with a fork.

3. Now add them to the heated oil in a kadai and fry till they turn golden brown.

4. Take some oil in a pan and add bay leaf to it along with tomato puree.

5. When the paste starts simmering then add khus khus paste to it.

6. Mix them well and add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala to it.

7. Mix it well and bring it to simmer.

8. When the gravy is cooked properly then add fried baby potatoes and transfer the mixture into a pressure cooker.

9. Cook it on low flame for 10 minutes and keep stirring well.

10.Add black cardamoms when it is fully cooked.

Serve hot with paranthas or naan.
