Amla Raita

This Amla Raita is ideal to get required nutrients as it contains calcium, protein, vitamin C, and vitamin D.



    Ingredients to make Amla Raita:

    3 amlas, 1 cup grated coconut, 1 cup beaten curds, salt to taste

    For Tempering: 1 tsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, a pinch of asafetida, 4-5 curry leaves

    Steps to make Amla Raita:

    1. Boil the amlas till they are soft. Cool and de-seed.

    2. Grind the amlas with grated coconut in a mixer till smooth.

    3. Add salt and mix well along with the curd.

    4. For the tempering, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing and saute for 10 seconds. Add to the amla chutney and mix well. Serve.
