A quick, simple, and easy Anda Roti made using wheat dough and egg is perfect for your breakfast or lunch. The high quality egg protein, fiber and vitamin B of whole wheat flour and iron rich capsicum make this dish a wholesome breakfast choice.

    Ingredients to make Anda Roti:

    For dough - 2 cup whole wheat flour, 1 tbsp oil, salt as per taste, water as needed

    For stuffing - 2 beaten eggs, 1 chopped onion, ½ chopped capsicum, salt to taste

    Steps to make Anda Roti:

    1. Firstly, in a bowl, add wheat flour, add pinch of salt, add oil and mix it well.

    2. Add water gradually and knead it to make a soft dough. Cover and rest it aside for 5 minutes.

    3. In a bowl, add finely chopped onions and capsicum. Add beaten eggs into it and salt as per taste. Mix well.

    4. Take some portion of dough and roll it into big chapati using rolling pin.

    5. Heat a non-stick tava and cook roti on it for about a minute till bubbles start forming on roti. Then, flip the roti.

    6. Pour the egg mixture in the middle of the roti and then spread it using a spoon to cover the entire roti.

    7. After the egg cooks a bit and is less runny, fold the roti in half.

    8. Drizzle a little oil from the sides and cook the roti on both sides till it turns golden brown.

    Serve the hot Anda Roti with home made tomato ketchup. Add cheese while cooking to give it a cheesy flavour.
