The dry and hardened Arisa Pitha, is sweet in taste, and is basically made from rice and sugar. It is widely popular in Odisha and is offered to God also during religious events.

Contents
1 cup rice flour, 1 cup sugar, refined oil for frying, 1 tbsp sesame seeds
1. Make sugar syrup with sugar and water. Make it of 1 string consistency.
2. Slowly add rice flour to it while stirring continuously until it becomes a stiff dough.
3. Make small balls and flatten them from your palm from the dough.
4. Heat oil in a skillet and deep fry all the pithas.
Serve warm.
