This recipe is a great variation for wheat flour paranthas. Bajra is known for its health benefits. It is rich in calcium, magnesium, protein, and fibers. It gives instant energy and helps to heal stomach ulcers too.

1 cup bajra flour, 1 tbsp dried methi leaves powder(kasuri methi powder), 1 tsp black pepper, 1 pinch asafoetida, 1 pinch turmeric powder, salt to taste, 2-3 chillies, 1 ginger half inch long, 4 -5 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp whole wheat flour and ghee for cooking
1. Grind garlic, ginger and garlic to a coarse paste. Keep aside.
2. Mix bajra flour, wheat flour, asafoetida, turmeric powder, pepper powder, dried methi powder and salt along with little water. Knead into firm and semi-soft dough.
3. Prepare small balls from the dough preferably lemon sized.
4. Roll into flat roti shape using bajra flour for rolling.
5. Cook each parantha using ghee on both sides.
Serve Bajra na Thepla hot along with yogurt or pickle.
