Give a twist to normal ice-cream cone with this baked cone donut. Imagine ice-cream in a soft cone donut with cinnamon and sugar dusting - you will love it!

Ingredients to make Baked Cone Donuts:

1 cup milk, 2 cups plain flour, 2 tbps dry yeast, 3 beaten eggs, unsalted butter, 1/4th cup castor sugar, 1/4th tsp salt, oil for frying.

Steps to make Baked Cone Donuts:

1. Heat milk; add castor sugar and stir until dissolved.

2. Add yeast and stir until wet, set aside for 10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.

3. Heat butter until almost melted, set aside. Beat 2 eggs in another container set aside.

4. In a large bowl, combine the eggs and butter, whisk until well combined. Add the milk and yeast mix.

5. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt in the bowl and knead a smooth dough. Leave the dough for an hour so that it rises.

6. Take some dough and roll it into a rope. Wrap this dough rope onto alluminium icecream cones, giving it a shape of cone. You can make cones out of silver foil too.

7. Set it aside for 10 minutes. Make an egg wash with remaining egg. Brush the cones with egg wash.

8. Bake it for 15-20 minutes. The cones should be golden and tips should be darker.

Remove the cones, cool them. Dust castor sugar over them and fill them with icecream or liquid chocolate before serving.
