Banana Blast Cookies

These Banana Oatmeal Cookies are perfect for breakfast as they are basically healthy. These are so moist, they almost melt in your child’s mouth. Bananas are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, potassium, manganese, and vitamin B6. Oats have a well-balanced nutritional composition of carbs, protein, fat and fibre.

Ingredients to make Banana Blast Cookies:
1 cup of mashed banana, 1 cup wheat flour, 1 cup oats, ½ cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, ½ tsp. ground cinnamon, ½ cup of chopped walnuts and chocolate chips, 1 egg
Steps to make Banana Blast Cookies:
1. Preheat the oven to 350℉, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Add the egg and continue to beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Mix the mashed banana and baking soda in a separate bowl. Set it sit for 2 minutes.
4. Mix the banana mixture into the butter mixture. Whisk together the flour and cinnamon until they all are blended together.
5. Fold the walnuts and chocolate chips in the batter.
6. Drop in blobs on to the greased and flour dusted baking tray and bake for 11-14 minutes or until they are golden brown.
7. Cool on wire racks. Your Banana Blast Cookies are ready.
Serve hot to your champ and enjoy the way he savours them.
