Banana is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals suchas potassium, calcium, manganese, magnesium, iron, folate, niacin, riboflavin, and B6. These all contribute to the proper functioning of the body. The high content of potassium in bananas makes it a super fruit. When this is mixed with carbohydrate-rich rice flour it forms the best combo benefiting health with great taste. Banana shavige is a common south Indian dish which is quite popular among all due to its yummy taste.

Ingredients to make Banana Shavige:
Rice Flour- 1 cup, jaggery- ½ cup, bananas-1 big, and veg oil- 1 tbsp
Steps to make Banana Shavige:
1. Add water to rice flour and mix it roughlyto remove lumps.
2. Grind banana, rice flour mix, jaggery and salt to make batter. Adding water before grinding makes it easy to grind.
3. Grease an idli maker with oil.
4. Pour spoonful of batter into idli maker and steam it for 10-12 minutes.
5. After some time, when it is slightly hot, remove the individual idli with the spoon and fill it to chakli press. Press to make noodles.
