Want to learn a simple yet nutritious veggie dish to make your kiddo smile? Here we have for you our recipe for Bhindi Mappas, rich in vitamin A, potassium, and calcium.

5 cups chopped ladies finger, 3 tbsp oil, 1 tsp chopped ginger, 1 tsp chopped garlic, 4 to 5 curry leaves, ½ cup chopped onions, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, salt to taste, 2 cups coconut milk
1. Heat 2 tbsp oil, add the ladies finger and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes till they turn light brown. Keep aside.
2. In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil, ginger, garlic, curry leaves and onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, ladies finger and salt, and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
4. Add the coconut milk, mix well and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
