    Ingredients to make Biri Chaula Chakuli Pitha:

    ½ cup black gram skinless, 1 cup rice, refined oil for frying, salt to taste

    Steps to make Biri Chaula Chakuli Pitha:

    1. Wash and soak rice and gram. Soak them for about 2 hours.

    2. Drain the excess water and blend them into a fine paste. Add water as required.

    3. Add salt and mix well. Cover it and leave for 10 minutes. Batter should have semi-liquid consistency.

    4. Heat tawa on medium flame. Pour a ladle full of batter on tawa and spread it like a dosa.

    5. Use oil to fry it. Flip it and cook from both sides.

    Serve hot with coconut chutney or dalma.
