A quick, sweet and yummy crunchy snack, cashew cuts, can be made using sugar and cashews. Cashews are rich in vital vitamin and minerals while sugar provides carbohydrates. You can flavour the crunchy cashews in saffron sugar syrup. It’s a perfect snack whenever you have a sweet craving. You can store these cashew cuts in an airtight container.

1 cup cashew nuts, ¾ cup water, 1 ¼ th cup sugar, 5- 10 strands of saffron , 1 tsp ghee
1. In a kadai, add ghee and saute the cashews on medium flame for 5-8 mins.
2. Transfer the sauted cashews onto a plate.
3. Prepare the sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water on medium flame for about 10 mins. Add the saffron strands and switch off the flame.
4. Pour the thick sugar syrup on the spread cashews and mix well till sugar gets coated on the cashews evenly.
Delicious Cashew Cuts are ready to be munched. Enjoy!
