This Cherry Jam recipe is so quick, simple and no fuss. Your kiddo will relish the taste and wonderful red color of the jam. Cherries are a good source of fiber, vitamin C, and amino acids.

750 grams fresh cherrie, 300 grams sugar and 3 tbsp lemon juice
1. Wash the cherries with clean water and dry them with a kitchen towel. Pit the cherries using a cherry pitter and chop them into half.
2. Place the cherries in a sauce pan and cook on medium heat stirring constantly. Mash the cherries using a masher.
3. When cherries turn soft, add sugar, lemon juice and keep mashing and stirring.
4. Once sugar begins to boil, add lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
5. Switch off the flame and store in a clean jar once it gets cooled.
Spread the jam over bread/paranthas and offer it to your child.
