Chickpea Laddoos are particularly high in fiber. The iron, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, and vitamin K in chickpeas all contribute to building and maintaining bone structure and strength of your kid.
Contents
2 cups chickpea flour, 1¼ cup grated jaggery, ½ cup ghee, 3 to 4 cardamoms, ¼ cup cashews chopped, a handful of raisins
1. Powder the jaggery with cardamom.
2. Heat ghee and fry nuts. Set aside 3 tbsp of ghee and cashews.
3. Add flour and stir well.
4. Roast until the bean turns aromatic and dark golden in colour. At this stage the ghee begins to ooze out from the flour.
5. Cool down little so it is easy to handle.
6. Add powdered jaggery and nuts.
7. Take small portions and make into balls.
Store them in airtight jars. It is very healthy for your kid!
