Colorful Capsicum Pulav

Apart from imparting flavor and attractiveness to bland dishes, capsicums are loaded with nutrients like vitamins A, C, and K, caroteniods and dietary fiber, which makes them immensely beneficial for the overall good health. Colorful Capsicum Pulav is a highly nutritious and attractive meal that is very easy to make and lure you towards itself because of its great taste, aroma, and of course color.



    Ingredients to make Colorful Capsicum Pulav:

    Capsicum(yellow, red and green)-1 cup, cooked peas- ½ cup, rice-1 cup, salt-to taste, oil- 2 tbsp, coriander leaves-few, tomato-1 small, mint leaves-few, water-2 cup and green chilies-1-2 small

    Steps to make Colorful Capsicum Pulav:

    1. Wash and soak rice for 4 hours.

    2. Wash and chop capsicum, tomato, green chilies, and corriander leaves.

    3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add capsicum, tomato, and green chilies. Add salt and fry till the capsicum becomes soft.

    4. Add rice and cooked peas, stir for a while, and add water. Pressure cook till 2 whistles and turn off the flame.

    5. When pressure is released, open the lid, give a stir and garnish with coriander and mint leaves.

    Serve with dal fry.
