Crunchy Homemade Til Laddoos

Til or sesame seeds are considered to be extremely healthy as they are known to build strong bones, increase health of the heart, improve digestion etc. This is because they are a great source of dietary fibre, calcium, natural oils and essential nutrients such as Vitamin B6, zinc, copper, manganese, phosphorus, iron etc. Til laddoos are easy to make and serves as a great dessert to your little one.



    Ingredients: 1 cup of white sesame seeds, a handful of raw peanuts, half a cup of dessicated coconut, ½ cup of grated jaggery, ½ tsp of cardamom powder. 


     1. Dry roast the sesame seeds till they start giving out their characteristic aroma. Set aside.

     2. Dry roast the peanuts. Remove the peels and break them into small pieces.

     3. Grate the sesame seeds, coconut and jaggery in a mixer to form a smooth powder. 

     4. Put all ingredients into a bowl, add cardamom powder and mix. Roll into small bowls.
