Delicious Lemony Tart

Lemon juice helps in clearing out toxins from the body, thus helping in cleansing. They are alkaline in nature and reduce acidity, pain, and inflammation. Lemons are rich in vitamin C and act as an immunity booster. They are also rich in antioxidants. Delicious Lemony Tart is a sweet dish that is prefered anytime due to its unique tangy lemony flavour. This nutritious and delicious dish is very easy to prepare and makes a perfect snack.

Ingredients to make Delicious Lemony Tart:

Wheat Flour-1 cup, baking powder-1 tsb, sugar-1 cup, oil-1/4 cup, lemon juice-1/4 cup and lemon zest-½ tsp

Steps to make Delicious Lemony Tart:

1. Combine oil, wheat flour, baking powder, and ½ cup powdered sugar in the mixing bowl to make asmooth dough. Press dough into a 9-inch tart pan; refrigerate crust for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3. Bake crust until light golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

4. Whisk sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and ½ cup flour in a bowl until smooth. Pour the lemon filling into crust.

Cover edges of crust with strips of aluminum foil to prevent burning.

Bake the tart until filling is set, for about 20 minutes. Cool completely and dust with confectioners' sugar.
