Simple deep fried Egg Bonda is rich in protein and calcium. This is a mouth-watering snack, which you can prepare in no time.

2 boiled eggs, ½ cup besan, 2 tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, coriander leaves, 1 tsp turmeric, salt as needed, water, oil for frying
1. Cut the boiled eggs into halves and sprinkle red chilli powder and salt.
2. In a large bowl mix besan, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, turmeric. Add little water at a time to make lump free batter. Make sure the batter is thicky and not runny.
3. Heat the oil in a skillet. Dip the boiled eggs in batter and deep fry in oil. Fry the eggs until golden brown in colour. Remove them on paper towel.
Enjoy this delightful snack with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
