If you are allergic to eggs then prepare this yummy Eggless Sponge Cake and enjoy the sweet, spongy cake without any fuss.

1 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup curd, 1 tsp baking powder, 1⁄2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 3/4th cup castor sugar, 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter
1. Sift 1 cup maida in a bowl.
2. Add 1 cup curd and 3/4th cup sugar in another large bowl. Whisk well to remove any lumps.
3. Add 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda. Mix well and leave it for 5 minutes. The bubbles will start appearing.
4. Add butter and vinegar. Mix well.
5. Add previously sifted flour. Mix until it turns smooth.
6. Pour batter in previously greased baking pan and bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
7. Check whether cake is fully cooked or not. If not, bake it for another few minutes. Demould the cake and let it cool.
Serve it with honey or cream and just as it is. You can add nuts too.
