Fish Balls

Is your kid fond of fish? You have to try this Fish Balls recipe and enjoy as it is crispy and yummy. Fish is loaded with important nutrients like protein and vitamin D.

    Ingredients to make Fish Balls:

    2 cups fish fillets, 1 medium onion chopped, green chilli as per taste, 1 tbsp. garlic and ginger paste, ½ tsp. garam masala powder, ¼ tsp. turmeric powder, 1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp. lemon juice, ¾ cup maida, ½ cup bread crumb, 1 cup refined oil, salt as desired

    Steps to make Fish Balls:

    1. Grind the fish fillets, green chilli and the onions to a paste.

    2. Combine the paste with maida, salt, garlic-ginger paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl and mix well to make dough.

    3. Cover and refrigerate for half an hour.

    4. Divide them into equal small balls and roll them on bread crumb and place them on a plate.

    5. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the fish balls over medium flame until they are well cooked and turn brown in colour

    6. Remove the balls on a tissue paper to drain excess oil.

    Serve this delightful fish balls which tastes best with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
