If you are having a celebration at home, treat with Fried Vanilla Icecream with a crunchy coating, topped with whipped cream, honey and cherries. The vitamins present in honey are B6, thiamin, niacin and the richness of milk.

    Ingredients to make Fried Vanilla Icecream:

    4 cups of Vanilla Icecream, 3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal, 1 tsp. cinnamon powder, 3 egg whites, oil for frying, 2 tsp honey, 2 tbsp. whipped cream, few sliced cherries

    Steps to make Fried Vanilla Icecream:

    1. Scoop ice cream into 8 – ½ cup sizes balls.

    2. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm, for about an hour.

    3. In a shallow dish, combine cornflakes and cinnamon. In another dish beat egg whites until foamy. Roll ice cream balls in egg whites, then in cornflakes, covering ice cream completely. Freeze again until firm for about 3 hours.

    4. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan to 190 degrees celsius.

    5. Using a slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls one at a time.

    6. Fry for 10 to 15 seconds until golden. Drain quickly on kitchen paper towels.

    Serve it immediately, topped with whipped cream, honey, and sliced cherries.
