Gahat Rasmi Badi is a high protein diet made from gahat daal koftas. An authentic dish from mountains, this recipe is such a simple way of sneaking in proteins in your diet.

1 cup gahat dal, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 2 tomatoes chopped or pureed, 2 onion chopped, 1 tsp garam masala, ½ tsp cinnamon paste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt as per taste, water as required for gravy
1. Wash and soak dal overnight. Grind it to coarse paste using little water.
2. Mix little spices in the dal and make small balls of it. Fry them in oil.
3. Now make a gravy of onion tomato and add given spices.
4. Add fried balls in gravy, simmer for 2-3 minutes and remove from flame.
Serve hot with chapati and rice.
