Out with the old, in with the new! White rice cereal is out, in with Golden Pearl Pulao.. You will instantly enjoy a plateful of this pulao. Corns have good dietary fiber and is rich in protein and antioxidants.

Ingredients to make Golden Pearl Pulao:
1 cup Basmati Rice, ½ cup sweet corn, 1 bay leaves, 1 clove and ½ inch cinnamon, 1 tsp. cumin seeds, 1 cardamom, ½ tsp. red chilli powder, ½ tsp. dhania powder (coriander seeds powder), 1 onion finely sliced, 1 tbsp. chopped Spring Onion, ½ tsp. ginger garlic paste, 2 tbsp. ghee, 1 tbsp. oil, salt to taste, 2 whole black pepper corns, ¼ tsp. turmeric powder, ½ tsp. garam masala, 2 tbsp. of chopped mint and coriander leaves, water as required
Steps to make Golden Pearl Pulao:
1. Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes. Heat ghee and oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves, clove, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin seeds and fry it for minute.
2. Add onion, sauté for few minutes, and then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, dhania powder, crushed pepper corns, few mint and coriander leaves. Sauté this on a medium heat until the raw smell of ginger, garlic goes
3. Add corns and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Add drained rice and gently sauté on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Pour water and add salt. Stir and cook on a medium high heat for 1 whistle.
6. When the pressure comes down fluff up the rice and garnish with spring onions and coriander leaves
